Along the southern coast of the Lleyn Peninsula the road runs past this very old building heading down to the beach below. The distant hills of Snowdonia appear in the background haze. I enjoy creating devices to draw the viewer into the painting, taking them on a journey. Curving roads and paths serve this purpose well, leaving the viewer wondering where they lead to.
