Heading up the track to Moel Siabod I passed this small lake and decided to head around to the outflow. As I got there and gazed upwards it was another must paint moment, the shapes of the foreground boulders and their interaction with the water were fascinating. At the back of the lake a track lead up towards the peak, linking the composition together. Indulging in the winter colours of the land contrasting with the blue water was a joy.
