At the very end of the Lleyn Peninsula looking over to Ynys Enlli or Bardsey Island, this pair of tiny cottages made a striking foreground. The track leading past them into the image and on towards the sea serves to point the viewer to the island. The blues of the sea and shadows make a great counterbalance to the yellow hues of the mid-summer fields.
